Key added values of IQRegister
With the introduction of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), the requirements for institutions to document third-party IT services transparently, efficiently and in an audit-proof manner are increasing. IQRegister is a comprehensive information register software for the entire life cycle – from initial creation, through automated testing of all validations, to automated reporting to BaFin.
The source and adjacent systems can be integrated in real time via existing API interfaces. It can also be used as an “invisible service” without a graphical user interface, e.g. for validating entries made in the information register.
Harmonization of Outsourcing Register and Register of Information
The Register of Information software IQRegister ensures compliance in accordance with Article 28 (3) DORA. In addition, the associated technical implementation standard 2024/2956 for the information register, published in the Official Journal of the EU Commission on 2.12.2024, is fulfilled.
With regard to the Outsourcing Register required under MaRisk, there is parallelism in relation to IT services, which would lead to inconsistencies. To avoid this, IQThirdParty can be used to maintain a consolidated and uniform database for the information and outsourcing register. In addition to the Register of Information, the outsourcing register can also be generated at the touch of a button.
Further features of the IQRegister application
Centralization and consolidation: All data on ICT services and outsourcing is stored in a consistent database. This results in consistent reports on all external services, particularly with regard to the information and outsourcing register.
Transparency and optimization: All stored outsourcing chains become transparent at the touch of a button. Unwanted dependencies on suppliers become intuitively apparent. An excellent database is available for optimizing the supplier portfolio. This also relates in important parts to price and quantity optimization.
Flexible messages: Corporate groups with partial headquarters in a third country must report the section attributable to the European Union. The scope of the report must be selected flexibly at the level of the respective financial company. This also applies to subsidiaries which themselves exercise a controlling relationship. A flexible scope also serves the purpose of company-specific optimization.
High integrability: Multiple interfaces are supported. These include real-time APIs, CSV/Excel interfaces and the information register as an independent input format. IQRegister can therefore be optimally integrated into the respective system landscape. Only information that is not available digitally is entered manually.
User-friendly operation: Workflow-supported data entry and completion contributes to the high efficiency of compliance processes. Interactive help functions are provided for precise entries.
High IT security and scalability: The highest standards of IT security are met. For example, strong end-to-end encryption for data processing and storage, multi-user/client capability and technically enforced data storage and processing in Germany.
Specific customizing: If additional functions are required over and above the existing features, these can be ordered flexibly via a service request.
Further know-how: If you require further know-how on the information register, you can find out more here as a first step. If you require (strategic) consulting or operational support alone, our management consultants specializing in IT compliance will be happy to help.
